Sanitary DistrictsThe Town of Lodi is served by two independent sanitary districts with a jointly operated treatment plant. One district is in Harmony Grove and the other is in Okee. The boundaries of each district are shown on the Town Road Map. Together they comprise the Harmony Grove-Okee Joint Sewerage Commission which operates the shared Wastewater Treatment Plant in the town. Each of the sanitary districts is also their own special voting district in the Town of Lodi, since each of their District Boards is comprised of three residents elected only by the residents of their respective districts. See both the Elections page and the Elected Representatives for the Town of Lodi page for more details. NewslettersWater Softener Chlorides & The Wastewater Treatment PlantThe Wastewater Treatment Plant has to meet limits on the chloride level as set by the Wisconsin DNR. Exceeding those limits will result in DNR fines and/or expensive upgrades to the Treatment Plant. The Treatment Plant can only remove a small amount of the chlorides. Homeowners can greatly assist in reducing the amount of chlorides ending up at the Treatment Plan by making changes to their home water softener system. Please see this PDF from the Sanitary District for more details. Sanitary District OfficeThe districts maintain a joint office located in the basement of the Hometown Bank (formerly the United Community Bank) building in Harmony Grove. Office hours are from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
